Although we’re never getting another Outkast album, Big Boi has been holding it down for years. Currently sitting on three solo albums a joint EP with Phantogram, the son of Chico Dusty’s next release will be a collaborative effort with fellow Dungeon Family member Sleepy Brown.
Oh, and it’s produced entirely by Organized Noize!
“We got a vault full of music, man: me and Sleepy Brown working on a record right now,” Big Boi said while talking to VinylMePlease about the 25th anniversary of Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. “We formed a group called The Big Sleepover, we’re like six songs in, man. It’s produced by Organized Noize, and it’s me and Sleepy Brown all the way down. We’re gonna drop that shit in a couple months and keep it moving.”
