YBN Cordae was quite the pleasant surprise when the DopeHouse with “Old N*ggas” in 2018. Rather than it being a simple “shots fired” response to J. Cole‘s “1985,” the former Entendre put together a lyrically dense showcase of his burgeoning talent.
Able to hop-scotch between socially conscious, though-provoking songs and raucous, riot-starting party bangers, Cordae has announced that he will release his major label debut The Lost Boy on July 26th. Led by the singles “Have Mercy” and “Bad Idea” with Chance The Rapper, the 2019 XXL Freshman has revealed the artwork for the project.
Expect the tracklisting and another single to arrive ahead of the album’s release.
