SAINt JHN Releases ‘Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs’ Album

Although he made us wait a year and a half after dropping Collection One, SAINt JHN is officially back in action with Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs.

Collection One was remarkably honest, but it was just scratching the surface,” JHN told Coveteur back in February. “I didn’t give you everything I had, I wanted to start the story. Collection One is the equivalent of me walking into the bar in a blue mink, you’re sitting by the bar, and I walk up to you and I buy you a drink. You like how I look at you, you like how it feels. I don’t introduce myself, I just leave. The impression was made. [Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs for Christians] is when I come back and reintroduce myself. I tell you my name and I ask you yours.”

Finally ready to continue his story, the Brooklyn-bred Guyanese-American rapper-slash-singer-slash-producer-slash-songwriter-slash-you get the point, comes through with a 14-track release equipped with features from Meek Mill (“Anything Can Happen“), Lil Baby (“Trap“), A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, and the legendary Lenny Kravitz.

“I imagine if me and a stripper got married, we’d play this at our wedding reception,” JHN relayed to Apple Music with the release. “And then at the wedding reception, and after the divorce, at the signing of the paperwork.”
