In a few short days (November 8th), FKA Twigs will release her long-awaited sophomore album MAGDALENE. Her first project since her 2015 EP M3LL155X, and the official follow-up to 2014’s LP1, the project is anchored by the singles “Cellophane” and the Future-guested “Holy Terrain.”
She’s now released a new single, “sad day.” True to its namesake, the track is a melancholy offering in only a way Twigs can. The artist also plans to release a video, directed by Hiro Murai (Atlanta, Guava Island, Childish Gambino’s “This Is America”), in the coming days as well.
