From Chicago to Crenshaw, Ric Wilson and Terrace Martin have joined forces for a new project called They Call Me Disco.

“The disco-inspired funk never stops,” says Wilson. “Me and Terrace wanted to make something people can move to and free themselves. When I toured with Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, the band started calling me ‘disco’ on the bus, so that’s where the name came from. If you’ve ever met me, you know two stepping is my favorite thing to do.”

“This record is a beautiful reminder the disco never stops,” adds Martin. “Keep smiling, keep dancing, and keep loving.”

Equipped with six tracks, including “Chicago Bae” with BJ the Chicago Kid, the EP also has contributions from Corbin Dallas, Malaya, and Kiéla Adira.

  1. Breakin Rules f. Corbin Dallas
  2. Don’t Kill The Wave
  3. Chicago Bae f. BJ the Chicago Kid (co-prod. Ted Chung & J-Trx)
  4. Move Like This
  5. Before You Let Go f. Malaya
  6. Beyond Me f. Kiéla Adira
