J. Hutton – “Take It Easy”

J. Hutton is back with another groove you’ll have on repeat.

After capturing our attention with “Pink Couch” earlier this year, the multi-talented Canadian artist–who sings, plays instruments, and even gets down on some illustration–quickly followed up with “Old Fashioned.” And now, with an AOTY contender in the tuck, Mr. Hutton is right back at it with his fifth overall single, “Take It Easy” featuring Terrell Morris.

“The sun had set after J. completed an arduous and extensive home yoga session. He is in constant search for a sense of stillness and on that night he felt as though he might have found it,” a chapter-book style anecdote about the song’s creation reads. “Unfortunately, this feeling was short lived after realizing that he had pushed himself too far and could not lift himself from the floor. Unable to turn out lights, J. laid motionless with a burning desire to be held in a dim setting. In the morning, when he regained use of his body, he stood at the piano and wrote the opening verse of ‘Take It Easy.'”

For those seeking asylum from incandescent environments, this one’s for you. Check it out below and add the song wherever you consume music.
