With his eighth studio album (or seventh, if you don’t include his 2018 holiday album A Legendary Christmas), and follow-up to 2020’s Grammy-winning Bigger Love, arriving in the near future, John Legend follows up its first single “Dope” with a second collaborative track.
Joined by acclaimed songwriter-turned-rising singer Muni Long, “Honey” marks the first time that Legend and Long are collaborating as recording artists (Muni has, literally, written for everybody over the past several years). Meanwhile, the Christian Breslauer-directed visual is a continuation of Legend’s party that went down in “Dope,” but now… with a bunch of honey and honeycombs and stuff.
