And, yet again, another one.
Having already landed a chart-topper this year with his self-titled fifth album, Nayvadius is also poised to repeat with his sixth album HNDRXX which released a week later. Now, according to NPR and Ellen DeGeneres, Future may attempt a three-peat.
In an article by Rodney Carmichael, NPR states that “there are already unconfirmed reports that the Atlanta rapper and his label Epic will follow up this second release with a third album.” Meanwhile, DeGeneres — which confirms him as a musical guest on Thursday, March 2nd — provides stronger evidence, stating “He has the #1 album in the country this week with Future, and is attempting to have three #1 albums in a row in three weeks – which will make him the first in history to do that!”
If that is the case, it appears that Futche is chasing history to kick off his year of the Trumpocalypse.
UPDATE: According to Future’s manager, the rumor is false. But… let’s be real, this wouldn’t be the first time someone in an artist’s camp lied when a surprise release was fumbled. We’ll see…
