Daniel Caesar‘s recent single — “We Find Love” and “Blessed” — have now gotten a joint video. Caesar has also announced his debut album, Freudian.
“I’ve never been as proud about anything I’ve created in my whole life,” Caesar told The FADER. “This body of work is about examining my most complex feelings and thoughts more directly. I’m more exposed than ever on this album. It’s like I’m in therapy, but it’s on display. And I got to make this with my friends. It’s just us, no label, so it makes it that much more special.”
The video is shot in the style of a home video, where Caesar falls in love, embrace with a girl in back of a car, then later falling out of love. But that’s alright, because “we find love, we get up” and fall in love all over again, which Caesar does.
Watch the “We Find Love/Blessed” video below. Freudian drops on August 25 via Golden Child Recordings.
