Their first LP since 2014’s A Better Tomorrow — well, first public album at least — the Wu-Tang Clan (kinda-sorta) will release their seventh studio album Wu Tang: The Saga Continues on October 13th. While it will be executive produced by RZA, longtime Wu-Tang affiliate Mathematics will handly the bulk of the actual production on the album.
Led by “People Say” featuring Redman, the single now has a matching set of visuals. With Method Man, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck and Masta Killa leading the charge, the video tells the tale of a secret box with the Wu-Tang’s insignia on it, and the forces determined to acquire it at any cost.
“The concept of the video is based on a Wu box and inside the Wu box is the secret to Wu’s energy,” Mathematics said to Complex. “It’s sacred but at the same time we want to share it so we give it out piece by piece. But there’s always someone who wants to take too much for their own selfish reasons. All of that transpires in the video.”
