What else can we say about Royce 5’9″ that we haven’t already said many many many times before? He’s one of the best rappers to ever do it. Simple as that.

Dedicating half his life to the game, the Detroit emcee is knocking on 40’s door and delivering some of the best music of his career. From PRhyme to Layers, he’s taken his pen game to unheard of levels and continues to beat the bloody pulp out of Father Time any chance he gets.

In 2017, Royce has set his sights on the new generation of rap. And now that he’s got his own studio, he’s been taking today’s hottest joints and obliterating them.

Starting with a fresher take on PHresher’s “Wait A Minute,” he then took Jay Z and Future’s “I Got the Keys” for a lyrical joyride. And now, after receiving some words of encouragement from his big bro Eminem, “The Beats Keep Callin” and Nickel couldn’t help but answer with a swift slaughter of Migos’ “Bad & Boujee” and French Montana and Kodak Black’s “Lockjaw.”

Haaaa Big Bro…. ? @eminem

I would run through some quotables, but I’d end up typing out every line. Plus, we’ve got Genius for that.
