Although the financial side of things is still a complete mess (more on that later), Lil Wayne and Birdman have seemingly been trying to bury the hatchet as of late. Recently spotted at LIV nightclub together in Miami, the estranged father—son duo have now hit the studio together.
Last night, Birdsy posted the above photo of himself, Wayne, and Yo Gotti with the caption “studio flow.”
Was this a Carter V session? Is this the “return” of YMCMB? Doesn’t Wayne have a $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money? Didn’t Birdman “allegedly” try to have his son popped? Why are Raising Cane’s chicken fingers so absolutely delicious?!
Out of the questions above, we really only have the answer to one—and that’s based off a “Young Money source” from TMZ.
Apparently, despite the recent signs of affection, Wayne has no intentions of dropping the lawsuit—and why the hell should he?
Hopefully he can get what’s owed to him and everyone can move on from this wild, unfortunate, and costly situation.
