Sonnymoon songstress Anna Wise is one of music’s under-the-radar voices, despite her GRAMMY-winning accomplishments. A frequent collaborator of one Kendrick Lamar, she recently took home a trophy for “These Walls” from 2015’s To Pimp a Butterfly.

Wise is now breaking out of the shadows with her debut EP, The Feminine: Act 1. A seven-track outing, Wise has displayed signs of shedding her seemingly bashful and low persona with songs such as “BitchSlut” and “Precious Possession.” Although brief (the entire thing comes in at just 16 minutes), The Feminine is well well worth the listen.
