Page Kennedy’s transformation from comedian and actor to a bonafied rapper has been fun to watch.
From attacking the mumble rap scene on his DopeHouse debut (“No Offense“), to trading rhymes and handling his own on a track with King Los, Royce 5’9” and Denaun Porter (“Testing Me“), the Detroit native has a knack for killing beats (like Jay Z, DMX and Ja Rule’s “Blackout“) and opening up within the lines (“Torn Pages” with Marsha Ambrosius).
With his debut album, Torn Pages, set to arrive March 10th, Page is back on our pages with another heat-rock. This time, linking up with eLZhi and Fred the Godson for the hard-body “Assassins.”
