ElCamino Returns with ‘ElCamino 3’ Project

blame it on Shake June 24, 2022

The trilogy is complete.

Over the last few years, ElCamino has lent his talents to a variety of projects – including, but not limited to, Boldy James and The Alchemist’s The Price of Tea In China, Westside Gunn’s Who Made the Sunshine, Benny the Butcher’s Pyrex Picasso, and Conway the Machine’s La Maquina.

Now, fresh off the release of his Let There Be Light album, the Buffalo native is right back at it with a third installment to his self-titled ElCamino series.

“Being on probation for so long, I was really limited in where I could record and who I could work with,” Camino says of the project (he recorded three years ago). “Just getting off probation and having that freedom to work again, for ElCamino 3, it was important that I collaborated with other artists and producers in person at the studio, to catch a vibe, and then record.”

“Working with a producer like Harry Fraud, man, he’s working with me, playing me track after track to find the perfect beat for my style and what will bring out the best version of me as an artist,” he continued. “Being at the studio with a 38 Spesh, a Jay Worthy, or an A$AP Ant, that challenged me, motivated me to make better music. You have to bring your A game when you are working with these guys. On ElCamino 3, I brought my A+ game.”
