I remember soon after I started blogging, this Your Old Droog character popped up and the Internet tried convincing me it was a new persona from Nas. Well, nearly four years later, the Brooklyn native (who, no, is not a Nas persona, as it turns out) has established himself as a respected rapper, working with Royce 5’9″, Alchemist, Masta Ace, Mac Miller and others.

After taking 2016 to resupply his ammo, Droog now offers his second project of the year, his sophomore full-length album Packs, which follows his surprise What Happened to Fire? mixtape with Wiki.

Led by singles “White Rappers,” “You Can Do It! (Give Up),” “G.K.A.C.” and “Help” with Wiki and Edan, Packs sees additional features from Danny Brown, Chris Crack, Heems and a couple interludes from comedian Anthony Jeselnik.

Dig into Packs below, and cop the album on iTunes.
