This Unruly Mess I’ve Made… there are so many layers to the title of the forthcoming album by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis that I’m honestly not sure if they are quite aware of them. Either way, their second studio album will arrive on February 26th, and as is customary the duo have released a medley of singles in support of it: “Downtown,” “White Privilege II,” “Buckshot” and “Bridges.”
The latter, which features the severely underrated Leon Bridges, now gets its own set of visuals. A monochrome affair, the video features Macklemore in an abandoned building telling the story of the 21-year-old who died from a drug overdose, as well as touching on the themes of addiction, while Leon comes in with his soulfully wailing hook.
