Nearly three years of false release dates and social media complaints towards his label, Lil Uzi Vert finally released his long-awaited Eternal Atake album two weeks ago. Despite the long journey to its arrival, the album very much resonated well with his fans.

For the second time in his career, Lil Uzi Vert topped the Billboard album charts with Eternal Atake. The news comes just days after he shared the deluxe version of the album.

Eternal Atake sold a total of 288,000 units in its first week, a number that gives him the highest-selling hip hop album of 2020. Of the 288,000 units sold, 278,000 were streaming equivalent album units making it the fourth-largest streaming week ever for an album.

Other notables on the chart this week include Jhené Aiko with her CHILOMBO album at No. 2, Lil Baby’s My Turn at No. 4, Roddy Ricch’s Please Excuse My For Being Antisocial at No. 6 and Megan Thee Stallion’s Suga at No. 10.
