For the last 123 weeks (count em), I’ve been putting together a Weekly Dope playlist that compiles all the music that was released to help fans catch up. On average, each playlist consists of 30-40 songs. So, in an effort to put a little more of a personal touch on things, I’ll also be sharing a list of my personal favorites from the week.
On Volume 25 of my Songs of the Week playlist, I’ve got Action Bronson kicking it off over some jazzy knxwledge production, before DJ Muggs and Roc Marci roll out the “Rolls Royce Rugs” and Teyana Taylor recruits the Wu-Massacre trio of Meth, Ghost and Rae for a special remix. There’s highlights from projects by Future, Audio Push, Stro, Demrick & DJ Hoppa, deM atlaS, Khalid, Denitia, Summer Walker, Brent Faiyaz, Odunsi, Denitia, Dominic Fike, and Raheem DeVaughn. The Abstract Orchestra flipped a Madvillain cut on its head, Falcons & B. Lewis linked up with GoldLink and Jazz Cartier, and Daniel Caesar took it to the bedroom.
