The music world is going to jam-pack a helluva lot of music into the 28 days of February. The first Friday of the month we’ll see Big Sean, Sampha, SZA and Syd dropping albums. And the last Friday of February (the 24th) we’ll see albums from Oddisee, Thundercat and, now, Karriem Riggins, with a whole bunch more scattered throughout the rest of the month.

Riggins — who produced music on Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo, Kaytranada’s 99.9%, Common’s Black America Again and more last year — announced his first solo effort in five years, Headnod Suite.

The project will be hefty, landing at 29 tracks, with one singular feature from Jessica Care Moore. It will be released via Stones Throw. He shared two songs from the project — “E4s’J” and “Oddness” — today.

Headnod Suite is a concept of several rhythmic ideas fused together,” Riggins said in a press release. “I wanted to explore the power of interludes and marrying different styles and harmony together.”
